Self directed versus social learning

What’s the best description? What works best in your organization? Would the term self directed be more supported in corporations?

    Don’t get the question. “Social Learning” is a term coined by A. Bandura a number of decades ago. Really bad if used in another sense.

    Robert, there is be a dialog concerning social networking tools used in learning. See Twitter group SLQOTD, Eliott Maise on Facebook and others. See your point on a better questions, context. My concern is that emphasis on the online channel and social networking will chill adoption within companies.
